Apple announced a new sets of wireless Beats headphones. All three are powered by Apple’s new W1 chip. Beats will offer the new Solo3 Wireless headphones, as well as their new Powerbeats in-ear headphones. They are also launching a new range called BeatsX, that is a cheaper collection that uses cables.

Beats Solo3 Wireless Headphones:

The Beats Solo3 Wireless can apparently run for up to 40 hours on just a full charge thanks to the W1 chip, and play for 3 hours after 5 minutes of charging via microUSB. Preorders for those started, at a price of $300 in gloss black, gloss black, gold, silver, rose gold, and white; they clearly designed to match Apple’s color offerings for the new iPhone 7.

Beats Powerbeats Headphones:

Beats’ new Powerbeats have been redesigned a slightly to improve the ergonomics, and provide a better fit. It provide 12 hours of wireless battery life and ideal for workouts.

BeatsX Headphones:

The BeatsX is designed to be fluid, light and flexible, so it is really comfortable and unnoticeable when you worn it. The cable – dubbed Flex-Form – is designed to be tangle free, and the eartips have built-in magnets so that they can snap together when they are worn around the neck, and not in use.

As well as those features, the BeatsX earphones have something that Apple calls Fast Fuel. In short, they charge via an included Lightning cable that provides enough juice for 2 hours of playback in just 5 minutes of charging, or 8 hours of playback with 45 minutes of charging.

The new Powerbeats and BeatsX are not yet available to order. The Beats Solo3 Wireless are available now to buy at the Apple Online Store. There are also new wired headphones, the Beats EP On-Ear, which are cheaper than all three.
