Alcatel – the smartphone manufacturing company has recently launched its latest device, dubbed as the Alcatel Idol 5. The main highlight of the handset are; 13 megapixel sensor on the back of the device and seventh generation Nougat operating system.

The smartphone features a 5.2 inches LTPS IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display that carries the support for 1080 x 1920 pixels screen resolution at 423 of ppi pixel density. The Alcatel Idol 5 runs on the Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box, bringing all the latest features like multi-window view, reply in notification panel, enhanced doze mode, and much more.
It is powered by the MediaTek MT6753 quad core processor and for graphics; there is a Mali-T720MP3 graphics processor. On the storage front, the smartphone is equipped with 3GB of RAM along with 16GB of internal storage. The newly arrived phone also supports MicroSD card for storage expansion that increases storage up to 256GB.
As far as the camera is concerned, the smartphone sports a 13 megapixel rear camera with phase detection autofocus, face detection and LED flash. While on the front of the device, there is a 5 megapixel front facing camera for capturing wonderful selfies and making video calls.
To power the device, there is a Non-removable Li-Ion 2,800 mAh battery buried inside it. The phone also comes with the support for fingerprint sensor for added security. The smartphone is available in various color options, including Metal Silver, Metal Black.
