DATSUN is an automobile brand owned by Nissan company, recently announced its new redi-GO urban-cross. It hatchback features a contemporary, sporty design and is claimed to deliver best-in-class fuel efficiency. It is an attractive price tag with some new finance schemes that will ease young car buyers.

This new redi-GO is powered by an all-new 0.8 litre 3-cylinder engine in-sync along with 5 speed manual transmission and the power is 67bhp at 5678 rpm. Datsun redi Go is based on the CMF-A platform that is similar, which is used for the Renault Kwid and its torque about to 104Nm at 4386 rpm. The Kwid that is claimed to deliver a 25.17 kmpl of mileage.

The redi-GO features includes a stylist headlights and the familiar looking grille in between and a more muscular hood, chromed bumper, LED fog lights, double character lines, narrow daytime running lights DRLs that are mounted on the front bumper and high ground clearance with best-in class kneeroom and visibility. This redi-GO provides a 3430 mm length, 1540 mm height and 2430 mm wheelbase along with 185 mm ground clearance.

The engine will come mated to a five-speed manual gearbox sending power to front wheel. The design is really aggressive with the front sporting slightly narrow. This new redi-GO entry-level car will be slightly taller and more spacious than the Renault Kwid. It’s probabily come out with two striking color option: Red and Green.
