Asus has announced another two new variants of the Zenfone 3: the Zenfone 3 Laser and the Zenfone 3 Max. While both are available in a limited number of Asian countries (for under $300), they’re yet to be released globally. However, the new ZenFone 3 Laser will likely make it to more markets in the near future, as Asus is now promoting it in a video posted via its global YouTube channel.

The company claims that the device has a focus speed of 0.03 seconds, which is pretty amazing considering its budget price. Also showcased are the phone’s metal body, fingerprint scanner, and Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Zen UI. It seems the device is more focused on utilizing its super fast laser auto-focus as it should. Laser makes everything more accurate and fast so the Asus Zenfone 3 Laser should be one reliable phone.

The Asus ZenFone 3 Laser is powered by octa-core processor with a speed of 1.4 GHz and it comes with 4 gigabyte of RAM. The device packs 32 gigabyte of internal storage that can be expanded via a microSD card.

The new smartphone comes equipped with the following: an ultra-thin edge, beautiful metal body design, 2.5D Gorilla Glass screen, ultra-fast 0.03s laser auto-focus, 52 megapixel resolution image, 13 megapixel main camera with Sony IMX214 sensor.. The phone comes out with a 5.5-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080p by 1920 pixels

The Asus ZenFone 3 Laser is a dual SIM phone which accepts two Micro-SIM. Connectivity options include Bluetooth, GPS, Wi-Fi, 3G, 4G. Sensors on the phone include the Ambient light sensor, Proximity sensor, Gyroscope, and Accelerometer.
