Otterbox recently launched the new accessories to the market, including headphones, USB charger, and a laptop sleeve. Basically Otterbox – the company best known for their rugged smartphone and tablet cases, but now the company expanding its sights on the large accessory market, with launching these new accessories. It makes expensive headphones and chargers.  Well, now it’s getting into the headphone arena with a little help from Decibullz, which makes DIY custom moldable earphones.

The headphones are available in both Bluetooth for $99.95 or a wired version costs for $49.95. The Otterbox headphones seemingly have a more rugged design with a metal housings and connectors as well as a tangle-resistant braided nylon cords.

According to the company, the sound is the company’s own and the ear tips adhere magnetically, allowing you to wear them more securely around your neck when not in use. The headphones are rated for 3.5 hours of “play time,” which is pretty short.

Also available is the $24.95 Otterbox-branded car charger which offers two 2.4A USB ports, and $24.95 Otterbox USB wall charger. There is also the overpriced Micro USB cable cost for $29.95 and the Utility Series laptop sleeve, which cost about $24.95.

The company has also launched the Otterbox Bluetooth Audio Adaptor that plugs into a regular wired headset to use over Bluetooth. It offers decent sound and the company claims that the Adaptor is last up to 6.5 hours of battery life. The Audio Adaptor costs for $39.95. The Adapter is one of the better deals in the Wave of recently announced products and doesn’t too much cost.
